A couple other westcoasters and I went over to run some errands around the region where we live. Today was warn all day, here it stays warn much later Vancouver... meaning I love this place and don't want to go home.
I joke. I want to return eventually, but until then I'll need a residence permit that is found at the police station. But it's not the usual police that we're used to, I still haven't figure that part out. For my homework assignment, I had to find a person francophone to speak to and record our conversation as I asked them for help with whatever. I now have a voice recording of my terrible french. Soon I'll have a before and after of my improved french accent.
These are real homes. People live here. In this BEAUTIFUL house.
One of these weeks I will visit the inside too. There are also more extravagant religious gathering places in the center of the city. I can't wait to visit them!
